Top 6 Viral Arabian Perfumes on Tiktok - B Futurist (2024)

In recent years, TikTok has emerged as a powerful platform for fragrances to gain popularity and go viral. Several factors contribute to this trend, including the app’s visual and interactive nature, which makes it ideal for showcasing perfumes.

Users frequently create engaging content that highlights the packaging, scent notes, and personal experiences with the fragrance, drawing in viewers with intriguing visuals and stories. TikTok’s algorithm further amplifies these videos by pushing them out to a wider audience, allowing unique or captivating scents to quickly gain traction and spread.

Additionally, the community aspect of TikTok fosters discussions and collaborations, where influencers and everyday users recommend new discoveries, fostering excitement and curiosity around certain perfumes. This dynamic creates a snowball effect, propelling perfumes to viral status in a short amount of time.

In this post, we’ll share the most viral fragrances on TikTok, and our take on them.

Asdaaf Arabian Princes (Ameerat al Arab)

This fragrance has gone viral on TikTok, which is why we’re trying it. The fragrance opens with top notes of mint leaves, cardamom, and basil. Initially, it delivers a smoky aroma combined with a hint of mint and cardamom. The herbal bitterness from the basil follows, yet the middle notes—jasmine, honeysuckle, lavender, saffron, and pepper—act as a cushion, preventing the top notes from overwhelming the scent too quickly.

The heart of the fragrance reveals a blend of patchouli, lavender, and saffron, with the other notes being subtle except for a smooth, not overly animalic, iso-E super-like musk note. The base notes include cedarwood, patchouli, sandalwood, musk, and amber, rounding out this oriental smoky fragrance with a clean and fresh profile.

Ideal for daytime wear when layered with a citrus-based scent, or at night when paired with a leather fragrance, this perfume presents a unique blend inspired by what would happen if YSL’s Nuit De L’Homme and Paco Rabanne’s Phantom had a baby. It beautifully balances both influences with a Middle Eastern smoky edge. Notably, there is no sweetness in the fragrance. For those of us seeking a unique yet safe office fragrance or a night-out scent, this perfume is perfect. Plus, the bottle design is quite appealing.

Lattafa Yara

If you follow viral perfume videos on TikTok, this one can’t be missed. Lattafa Yara is a fragrance we find incredibly versatile, with a crowd-pleasing sweet, creamy, tropical fruit scent. It opens with a soft, sweet, fruity, floral, creamy, and slightly powdery aroma. The initial burst strikes us as sweet and creamy, featuring tropical fruit and floral notes. While some people associate it with a strawberry milkshake, perhaps influenced by the creamy pink bottle, it reminds us more of a sweet, fruity, slightly clean, high-end hair product often found in salons.

It also brings to mind Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ’62, minus the nutty note. While not a clone, the similarities are notable. As Yara dries down, it maintains its sweet and creamy profile, with a stronger powdery musk emerging after a few hours, eventually dominating the scent. We recognize top notes like orchid, heliotrope, and tangerine, with middle notes of gourmand accord and tropical fruits, and base notes of vanilla, musk, and sandalwood.

Its sweet, tropical essence is ideal for summer, while its creamy depth makes it suitable for colder months too. Overall, we believe Yara is an excellent choice year-round if you’re looking for a sweet tropical escape.

Hareem Al Sultan Gold

This Hareem Al Sultan Gold perfume with its eye catching bottle has taken TikTok by storm. This scent is a true chameleon, much like many feminine Middle Eastern perfume oils. We find it versatile, able to blend effortlessly with numerous other fragrances while maintaining its delightful aroma. Al Sultan Gold presents a fruity sweetness reminiscent of a clear gummy bear, particularly pineapple, but without the natural tartness. It’s fruity without feeling immature. Though synthetic, it has a charm that works well. There’s a touch of floral notes, making it incredibly wearable. The patchouli is well-balanced, enhancing the fragrance without overpowering it.

Gissah Imperial Valley

@noseyourscent

Gissah Imperial Valley is the most hyped fragrance in the Middle East right now and the hype is similar to the hupe around Baccarat Rouge 540 in the US. Imperial Valley is a beautiful sweet, Oud, Leather fragrance and has one of the best atomizers I have ever seen. #fragrances #fragrance #fragrancetok #fragrancetiktok #Gissah #gissahperfumes #imperialvalley #gissahimperialvalley #middleeasternniche #nichefragrance #nicheperfume #arabperfume #oud

The bottle is elegant, and the packaging is impressive, exuding a regal aura reminiscent of a 19th-century king’s possession. The large atomizer is similar to that of a body mist. The scent was surprising; the website mentioned notes of leather and oud, but initially, I noticed a blend of oud, musk, and pink pepper. It opens with a feminine touch but becomes more masculine over time. It might not appeal to Western noses, but we are enamored with it. The fragrance’s DNA is common in the Middle East, where oud is prevalent in many perfumes. Initially, the projection ranges about 2-3 feet, but it intensifies as it settles. Its longevity is remarkable.

Lattafa Honor & Glory

Is this perfume viral worthy or overhyped? We think it’s the first. It’s a creamy pineapple fragrance and as it develops, we can detect hints of turmeric, black pepper, and cinnamon, although these elements are very subtle in the dry down. The scent is truly amazing and honestly quite addictive, with a lovely balance of vanilla and an earthy undertone, thanks to the moss note, that is also pleasing and not overwhelming.

Lataffa Eclaire

Lattafa Eclaire is an impressive Bianco Latte dupe, offering high-quality fragrance at an affordable price. It opens with rich, sweet, lactonic notes of caramel, sugar, and milk, closely resembling Bianco Latte. The opening is slightly less robust and creamy than Bianco Latte, but this difference is noticeable only when compared side by side. As it dries down, Eclaire’s white flower note subtly blends with caramel, sugar, honey, and vanilla. Overall, Eclaire is an excellent clone of Bianco Latte, with subtle differences like the white flower note in place of Bianco Latte’s coumarin, noticeable only during direct comparison.
