I watch him look around at the entrance of the restaurant trying to locate me. I wait for his eyes to finally scan around the area that I am seated at before I finally wave for him to grab his attention and his eyes finally catch mine before he starts to move towards me. 
He's wearing a slim fit shirt that he's folded just above his elbows but does not fail at showing the build of that broad chest of his beneath that fabric and the tattoos on his arms excel at adding just the right amount to his whole look and the pants he's wearing make sure to tie the balance of the ratio of his whole body. 
It's always odd watching somebody with a bulky upper body and a slim lower half, it's weird but it's only the latter for him, everything balances and everything fits just right with him like their right where they belong. 
"Hey I hope I didn't take too long, I got caught up in something." 
"Oh its nothing you have to be worried about."
I let him know as he gives my shoulder a comforting rub before he moves to sit on the chair opposite mine and he folds his arms and he gives his watch a small glance.

"I only have fifteen minutes to spare... how have you been holding up ? How's the little man ?"
He asks and he smiles at me as a of my own also surfaces. 
It's hard to believe that this side of him actually exists besides the cold and hard demeanor he's always been known for. 
"I've been okay but, I can't really say the same for him."
I tell him and the smile on his face dies down, definitely what he wasn't expecting. 
"Oh I am really sorry to hear that." 
"Yeah he has been for a while now and that's actually why I've been trying to reach you."
I start as I now clear my throat. 
How am I going to say this ? I should just blurt it out right ? And not try soften it up, I should just put it the way it is. 
"Letho isn't my husband's son...he's yours and the reason why he is sick is because his real family refuses for him to live under my husband's ..."

"Excuse me ?"
He asks. 
"I fell pregnant eight months ago, you know this but I never expected the baby to be yours ..."
I vaguely explain and he shakes his head at me. 
Why am I all over the place I came prepared. 
"How did this happen we were safe ?" 
"I know, but I was on the pill and I happened to miss some that month and then that night happened and then some weeks later I found out that I got pregnant... at first I didn't think that it was yours, I immediately thought the baby was Tlhabane's but I soon came to realise the opposite after I gave birth." 
I take out my phone and I slide to a picture of Letho and I turn the phone towards him and he watches the screen. 
He can't deny that Letho isnt his, it doesn't take rocket science to see the resemblance between him and Letho. 
"If you don't belive me we could do a DNA test and you would see that I am telling you truth." 
"You said eight months ?It's not adding up Katlego, that night happened over ten months ago." 
"I gave birth to Letho preterm, i had some complications during my pregnancy until I gave birth but he's never been one hundred percent since then... " 
He stares at me for what feels like forever as I feel my eyes start to sting. 
"What do you mean ?" 
"He's sick... really sick and the doctors can't seem to find any wrong with him, I've tried looking for traditional healers all around and all of them kept telling me the same thing... that Letho needs to be brought home, the Gumedes don't know him and they demand for me to come upfront or else their going to keep punishing us through this."
I explain and he closes his eyes as soon as I say the last part and he sighs.
