Police reported that the car WAS driven by Billy Abernethy, 17, Hickory Grove, who with a group of companions was returning from A basketball, game. charge He of was manslaughter held on pending completion of the investigationwas reported both Mr. Henry's legs were broken and he suffered other injuries. His death which occurred shortly after arrival at the hospital was attributed to shock. Mr.

Henry was born Aug. 1, 1877, in County, the son of the late Lancaster, John D. Henry. He was a member of Brevard Street Methodist Church. SURVIVORS Surviving are his wife, Mrs.

Annie Caskey Henry; four daughters, Mrs. J. M. McWhirter and Mrs. G.

W. Gainey of Charlotte, Mrs. L. E. Guldin of Trenton, N.

and Mrs. A. W. Pope of Monroe; a son, W. E.

Henry of Great Falls, S. a sister, Mrs. Fannie Sims of Great Falls, S. and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock Brevard Street Methodist Church.

Rev. McMurray Ritthe pastor, and Rev. J. G. Brawley of Glenwood ARP Church will officiate.
