The brand offers eight different flavors to choose from:Butter, Butter Cheese, Asiago Cheese, Ranch, Onion, Cajun, Sesame, and Garlic Herb.
The pizza atHungry Howie'sis pretty amazing, but it isn't the only thing that's available. The menu has avariety of options if you're looking to ventureoutside the confines of a cheese pie. However, not all the items that Hungry Howie's Pizza offers are worth your money. So, before you venture out to Hungry Howie's, it's good to ensure that you're only ordering the best items on the menu.It'll save you from a disappointing journey by keeping one of the most important things in your life happy: Your appetite.
12. Greek salad
When that craving for all things pizza smashes into you like a cement truck,the last thing on your mind is a salad. If you're craving pizza, you need carbs and cheese. However, a salad can be a nice way to start your meal and a great way to get some green into your diet before throwing back a bunch of pizza slices. Hungry Howie's offers several salad options, and one of these is a Greek salad.As enticing as the ingredient list is, in the case of this salad, the color green means stop instead of go.
You'd think a mixture of fresh romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, black olives, pepperoncini peppers, and feta would be a slam dunk. Instead, the flavors in this salad taste pretty bland. There aren't enough feta cheese crumbles in this offering to give the rest of the rather tastelessingredients that much-needed bite that feta always offers, and the Greek dressing thatsimply isn't tasty enough to salvage the jumble of veggies in this salad.
11. Pizza Deluxe Sub
What happens when you want to hop on the flavor-packed train that a pizza offers but really don't feel like ordering an entire pizza or even a single slice? Don't fret! Hungry Howie's has an option specifically designed for that exact urge. Hungry Howie's offers customers aPizza Deluxe Sub,which is essentially a pizza in sub form. In this sub, thetopping of your choice is placed on the bread withmozzarella cheese and marinara sauce. You can choose between three different toppings.
Sounds brilliant, right? Unfortunately, the execution of this sub makes it a menu option that you'll want to avoid. The problem is that there's too much bread accompanying the pizza fixings, which means that you never really get the same experience that you would with an actual pizza.The bread overwhelms the rest of the flavors, and that's the last thing you want when trying to scratch a pizza itch. If you're in the mood for pizza, just go with a whole pie and bring the leftovers home instead.
10. 3 Cheeser Howie Bread
If you're looking to fulfill a craving for carbs at Hungry Howie's, look no further thanthe Howie Bread. This menu option is available in a variety of different flavors. One of the options that leaps off the menu is the 3 Cheeser Bread, which is baked with a topping ofmozzarella, Parmesan, and cheddar cheese. While this item sounds appealing, it really isn't.
Now, how exactly does deep dish bread covered in three delicious kinds of cheeses not end up making aculinary home run? Well, the main problem is the texture of the sticks. While the bread in the photo looks appetizing, the reality is that the bread is far too crisp, which gives this item a burnt taste that lingers in your mouth long after you have eaten it. If you're looking for bread sticks that are worth your time, it's best to go with a different option.
9. Works
The best part of flatbreads is that you can basically get all thegreat stuff you love about a pizza on a smaller piece of crusted rectangular bread. If you aren't hungry enough for a pizza, then aflatbread is a great secondary option.Hungry Howie's offers a variety of flatbreads, and one of them is called "Works." This option is topped with pepperoni, ham, mushroom, green pepper, onion, Italian sausage, beef, black olive, and extra mozzarella for an enhanced level of cheesiness.
Unfortunately, this pizza works better when it's not on your bill. There are so many ingredients in this dish that the individual flavors tend to get lost in the shuffle. You want to taste theham, thepepperoni, and the Italian sausage as you bite into this flatbread, but unfortunately, these ingredients all come together in a confusing mouthful of too many toppings. Best to opt out of this one, folks.
8. Howie Cookie
After a big savory meal, there's always room for a little bit of dessert to offset all that rich food you have just consumed. That's exactly whereHowie Cookie comes into play.Hungry Howie'sgets their customers' sweet tooths revved up with a freshly baked oversized chocolate chip cookie that's cut into slices so you can easily gobble down a piece. While this huge cookie seems like it'd be a great way to end a meal, the truth is that this cookie isn't really anything to write home about.
To be clear, this cookie isn't necessarily bad; it simply doesn't live up to the sugary promise of the photo and the description on the menu. The texture of the cookie could be a bit softer, but it's not overly hard either.The main issue is the flavor itself. It doesn't pack the delicious chocolate cookie goodness that you expect, which makes this a pretty average and passable menu option.
7. Buffalo chicken pizza
Buffalo sauce is one of those great flavors you can opt for when you're craving a spicy sauce that doesn't quite have the searing intensity of a hot pepper sauce.Hungry Howie's knows a portion of their customers do crave some heat in their meals, so the fast-food chain offers them aBuffalo chicken pizza. This pie is topped withspicy Buffalo sauce, chunks of grilled chicken breast, red onions, as well as mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Unfortunately, this pizza doesn't quite satisfy your Buffalo sauce cravings.It definitely has a Buffalo sauce profile, but if you're looking for a littlezhoosh of heat in each bite, you might need to add your own hot sauce or Buffalo sauce, which is certainly not ideal if you want to indulge in a restaurant or fast food meal. And, without the presence of a vibrant, flavorful sauce, the other ingredients in this pizza simply do not give your taste buds that wow factor that is an essential component of any decent pizza.
6. Chicken bacon ranch sub
Within the vast world of subs, a few varieties of subs stand out because of their ingredients, andHungry Howie's chicken bacon ranch sub is one of them. The warm toasted bread in this sub is topped withchunks of grilled chicken breast,bacon, melted mozzarella, and then drizzled with a creamy ranch dressing: Sounds like heaven nestled into bread. If you do order this sub, you might find yourself wishing you had tried a different menu option.
This sub isn't a complete waste of your time:The chicken chunks are tender, the mozzarella is nicely melted, and thebacon has a wonderfully salty richness. The flavors work well together, and the only downside is that this menu option doesn't contain enough ranch dressing to give each bite a creamy taste. You're unlikely to be extremely disappointed if you order the Chicken Bacon Ranch Sub, though you probably will not be overly thrilled either.
5. Howie Wings
Pizza and wingsgo together like snowmen and winter: This is a classic combination that goes iconically well together. This combo makes total nutritional sense too: If you're enjoying a slice of cheesy pizza, you can get your protein fix by ordering a platter of chicken wings for a well-balanced meal (kinda). In keeping with the pizza and wing themes, Hungry Howie's also offers a selection ofHowie Wings.
Customers can choose between three different wing flavors:Asian, Buffalo, and barbecue. Additionally, diners can also opt for the Boneless Howie Wings, which are available in the same flavor selections. These coated wings go wonderfully well with a pizza feast. It's never a bad idea to order two or three platters of these things. The Asian wing flavor is particularly good and offers a zesty tang that tantalizes the taste buds. That being said, you can't really go wrong with any of these flavors, so go ahead and enjoy some of Hungry Howie's incredible wings.
4. Asian chicken flatbread
Asian flavors are increasingly making their way onto menus, which isabsolutely awesome. These vibrant Asian sauces and seasonings offer amazingflavor profiles that kick those umami senses into high gear and truly awe you with their incredible taste.Hungry Howie's has incorporated some of thisAsian pizzazz into its menu with the Asian chicken flatbread.Instead of marinara sauce, the crispy crust is covered in a layer of tangy Asian sauce.
This flatbread is topped withgrilled chicken, red onion, mozzarella, and a sprinkling of sesame seeds.The sauce is wonderfully zesty and plays perfectly well with the juicy chunks of chicken. The sweetness of the red onion and the creaminess of the mozzarella further add to the overall flavor. However,it's the sesame seeds that truly stand out. These seeds truly whisk yourtaste buds away to Asia with their rich nutty flavor. If you're looking to order something that is both unique and delicious, then this is the ideal menu option for you.
3. Steak, cheese & mushroom sub
Steak, cheese, and mushrooms: This is one of those combinations that really gets your appetite going. Well, luckily for fans of this flavor combo,Hungry Howie' has asteak, cheese & mushroom sub on the menu.Marinated steak, grilled mushrooms, and creamy mozzarella cheese all come together in wonderful harmony in this sub. This menu option is an absolute must-try and is worth every penny you pay for it.The steak is juicy and tender; the mushrooms aredelicate and flavorful.
Themozzarella cheese is melted to perfection, giving the meat and mushrooms a wonderfully creamy texture. Additionally,lettuce and tomato can be added upon request. The most unique aspect of this sub is that it is served with Italian dressing on the side.Sounds unusual, right? Well, the vinegaryflavor of the dressing cuts right through the richness of every other ingredient in this sub immaculately well. It makes you wonder why Italian dressing isn't a more common accompaniment to sub sandwiches.
2. Howie Maui Pizza
There are two very distinct schools of thought regarding topping pizzas with pineapple: According to the first, pineapple is afantastically unique way to add a burst of sweet flavor to every slice of pizza. The second school of thought goes in the opposite direction and believes that pineapple and pizza shouldn't even be in the same sentence, let alone combined together. Hungry Howie's abides by the former way of thinking in offering theHowie Maui Pizza, much to the satisfaction of pineapple lovers everywhere.
The burst of sweet juices that erupts from each chunk of pineapple deliciously complements the richness of themarinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, bacon, and ham on a pizza pie.In particular, the tangy tomato of the marinara sauce with the syrupy sweetness of the pineapple creates a flavor heaven that is simply luscious.The whole sweet-and-salty combination is always awesome, so why not make it happen on a pizza? It's sweet. It's salty. It's pizza and it really is perfect.

Whatever image of this pizza you may be constructing in your mind, the reality is so much better.

This pizza epitomizes all the splendor of a bacon cheeseburger through delectable little triangles.
