It's the news no one was expecting: that formerly madly in love Stephen Lustig-Webb will be joining the cast of the upcoming Celebs Go Dating series. He split from his partner Stephen last year, and the house the Gogglebox pair shared in Brighton has now gone up for sale, leaving him free and single again.
Issuing a simple five-word response to the reports that has sent everyone wild, he exclaimed: "This is gonna be fun!" The Channel 4 fave, who boasts 278,000 followers on Instagram, will join the likes of Ella Morgan from Married At First Sight (MAFS) and ex-Corrie star Helen Flanagan as they try to find love.
Now that he's left Gogglebox, there'll be no conflict over filming schedules, so he's been able to commit himself to the show while rebuilding his life post-split. It looks like fans are already excited, as one demanded in response to his big announcement: "Find me a date with Stephen!"
However, not all fans were happy with him searching for love, with one taking to Instagram to argue: "Think it’s wrong to be on a show like this so soon after a so-called break-up! But who knows what goes on behind closed doors?"
Another agreed: "Bloomin' heck that was quick! You were married ffs! Ah well good luck in your ventures!" (sic) "So sad you broke up with your partner, you two seemed so cosy!" a third chimed in.

"Where's your integrity?" quizzed a fourth.
However, others cheered him on, defending him against "judgmental" comments as they wished him the best of luck for finding his perfect match.
In the casting trailer, Stephen can be seen saying: "Watching a TV romance is easy. Living it? Not so much."
He's joined by singer and actress Jamelia, who confessed: "I've hit the high notes in music and drama, but when it comes to love, I think I need a few pointers."
Tristan Phipps is another eligible celebrity - a former safari guide at South Africa's Kruger National Park, who went on to hit the headlines after appearing in Made in Chelsea.
He confided: "They say Chelsea life is glamorous, but sadly it hasn't quite equated to my love life, so we're here to find love with the experts!"

Former MAFS star Ella Morgan donned a sparkly cut-out dress, as she quipped: "Well, obviously marriage didn't work out for me - so maybe I should try a bit of dating first!"
There was confusion over whether the 29-year-old was single, as she was spotted kissing Bobby Brazier at the BAFTAs afterparty earlier this month - but currently, she is looking for love.
She revealed on Instagram that she's already hitting it off with Stephen, gushing: "I already know me and @stephengwebb1971 are going to be best friends, god help the agents having to put up with us two!"
They'll be joined by Helen Flanagan, who split from Manchester City footballer Scott Sinclair after 13 years together and three kids, and sadly suffered psychosis in the aftermath of the break-up.
Going braless while posing in a crimson-coloured dress that matched the hue of her lipstick, she kept things simple with the words: "I'm a single mum. Who's going to walk me down the cobbles?"
They'll all be joined by Barbie actor and Love Island contestant Chris Taylor, who playfully described himself as "a trout out of water when it comes to finding a girlfriend".
He added: "I'm constantly asking myself: 'Am I Kenough?'"
