Hey folks, due to the extremely negative response that we had from our clients on our decision to go with guided fishing only next year, we have changed our mind. We thank everyone who contacted us with input on how important it was to them to continue to use Simcoe Fishing Adventures as their operator on south cooks bay. We will set up our camp next year with all of your favorite huts. Each winter is a different experience with a change in patterns and the need to ”chase the fish”. Our change in location this year to Roches Pt. has given us extra confidence that we can find the fish and put people in a position to catch. Part of our ongoing challenge, and the reason for considering a different business model, was our concern in ensuring that our clients got value for their outing. We cannot always promise catching, and this year has seen us need to get really creative with locations, but our efforts are producing results, and is still manageable even though we are farther up the bay. So, we will continue on as an operator on the east side of cooks. Each winter brings it’s own unique challenges and we are hoping 2010 is kind. We will see. As usual we will provide info on freeze up in the south end of cooks as the winter of 2010 develops. Thanks so much to everyone for their kind words.
