Late ice fishing has been great! These clients from the US were more than happy with yesterday and todays catch. You could not ask for a better time to be catching perch on lake simcoe. We cannot always guarantee that we can get out there on late ice, but with our Argos we can always do it safely. Safety is not an issue right now as we are still out there on 15 inches of ice. Even though the ice is badly honey combed and chrystalized, it is still sufficient to get out there with Argos and get fish.
