LAKE SIMCOE Ice Conditions
Cooks Bay LAKE SIMCOE has gained a significant amount of ice with the sustained cold temperatures over the past two weeks. The bottom of Cooks Bay is frozen over as is the shore out to a quarter of a mile on the Keswick side, up to just north of the Jersey River. Ice conditions are not yet safe, but developing nicely. With luck we will be fishing between the Christmas holidays. Give us a call to book your ice fishing outing on LAKE SIMCOE, the perch are waiting!

I will be up there for sure! But I like to go alone and just hide from civilization. The trips that make me feel like im on an uninhabited planet are the best. No signs of civilization make me incredibly happy.

We Fish on lake Simcoe in the Carthew Bay area. Usually line 12&13. There are 2 pressure cracks, the one out about 1.5 kms is quit big, it is as high as 4-6 feet, so be careful!!! the ice however is FANTASTIC… 10 to 18 inches and most of that is CLEAR blue Ice. The Fishing is a bit slow, but they are coming around. Cheers!!
