January 6, Cooks Bay Results

As you can see the guys we had out today had a good time, that goes for everyone with us today! Started last Thursday and have had fish under us every day since. Conditions are great. Currently working 8″ of ice, cannot comment on the rest of Lake Simcoe, just Cooks Bay. Anyone fishing on Cooks should not find any less than 5″ up to Roches Pt., and thicker ice the further south you go…up to 14″ at the ramp on the lake at Glenwoods. People are parking at the ramp (on the lake) at Glenwoods Avenue in Keswick which is a public access to cooks bay. Could not ask for better conditions currently, great for ATV’s and snow machines. Beyond Roches Pt, beware as the ice is fairly new up there. Play safe, book your adventure now! Whitey and wifey!
